No, that is the advantage of choosing Perfect Fit blinds. The blinds are held on by spring clips which slide in between the glass and the black rubber gasket of the double glazed unit. This enables the end user to clip and unclip the Perfect Fit blind from the window at any time without causing any damage to the window or the blind.

Perfect Fit blinds are suitable for 95% of UPVC double glazed windows with a bead depth of between 18mm and 38mm. If you are unsure whether your windows are suitable for our Perfect Fit blinds, then please contact us before you place any order.

The colours that are available are white, brown, golden oak, mahogany, Silver and Anthracite.

Generally speaking no, if it is a tilt and slide door than a pleated Perfect Fit blind can be fitted but it will have no operating handle and the gap between the frames must be greater than 8mm.

Yes, we certainly can. We can supply an operating pole that is up to 2000mm long but please let us know which blinds you will be using it for as we will fit a suitable operating handle.

Yes it is very easy to clean Perfect Fit blinds. The frame unclips from the windows making it very easy to clean.

No, this is something you do not have to worry about. We make allowances when your blinds are made at our manufacturers to ensure an easy fit, if you make an allowance your blinds will NOT fit perfectly. You can always contact Jaykay Blinds if you are not sure on the measurements.

This is absolutely true. The blinds snap into your window frames via spring steel clips. This is to ensure no damage is caused when your blinds are fitted. The spring steel clips can be powder coated to match the colour of your window and door frames.

All that is needed is a credit card. This can be used to slide the mounting clips into the correct position.

All of our blinds have a Three year guarantee. This will start from the date of dispatch.

Yes, we are more than happy to send out samples to you but we can only send a maximum of five samples per blind type.

Your Perfect Fit blinds will arrive flat packed as this is a more secure method of delivery. However, they are really easy to assemble. Your blinds will slot together very easily. All you will need is a small cross headed screwdriver to lock the Perfect Fit frame together.

You can pay by cash at our Wickford, Essex factory by prior arrangement. Cheques are accepted but we will need to have cleared funds before we will process your order. Credit cards are the preferred option but in all cases no order is processed for 24 hours to enable a cooling off period.

We are really sorry but at the moment we are unable to supply any of our blinds outside the U.K. mainland.

We use PayPal as our credit card intermediary. They have one of the most secure systems available. We do not store or have access to your credit card details. This why you are transferred to the PayPal site for all payments. It is a very secure and safe way of paying.

We ask all of our customers to register when they place their first order with us. This will allow you to track your order once it has been dispatched. However, you do not need to register in order to request samples or to contact us via our email page.

The Perfect Fit frame is 6mm thick. We find that most window handles will clear the frame easily.

You can check this by operating your window handle to the open position. You will then need to measure the gap between the handle and the window frame. This must be more than 6mm for easy operation of the window handles when Perfect Fit blinds are fitted. We supply free spacers that will give the correct clearance and are extremely easy to fit.

You can fit these by slightly opening the window handle to expose the two screws that hold it to the window frame. Remove these two screws and place the spacer under the handle body then replace the two screws. This is the best way in which to do this.

You can choose between white, tan, brown or Anthracite handle spacers depending on what colour your frames are. These will be either 2mm or 6mm thick and are supplied in 4 colours: white, tan, brown or Anthracite to match your frame colour.

Unfortunately Perfect Fit blinds are not suitable for conservatory roofs. Louvolite have a system called Perfect Fit International which will fit perfectly to conservatory roofs. This however, has to be measured by an accredited person. We hold that accreditation but are unable to offer a national service as we only cover Essex, East London and South East London, please contact us for more details.

Although Perfect Fit blinds are designed to be fitted to UPVC frames, it is possible to fit to wooden frames providing the frames are square and are 18mm deep. The Perfect Fit blind is then screwed to the frame in 4 or 6 spots depending on the size of the blind. We would ask you to contact us before placing an order. We have fitted Perfect Fit blinds to wooden frames on numerous occasions. In fact, our first order in 2007 was for a Perfect Fit pleated blind fitted to a wooden front door because privacy was an issue. We are happy to say that this blind is still in operation to this day.

We do not supply Wooden Venetians as these can twist and warp which will interfere with the operation of the blinds. This is because the blind fits very close to the glass.
